ASGS was contracted by Total Demolition to remove approximately 20,000 square metres of asbestos cladding at the Incitec Pivot facility in Wallaroo. This highly specialised project was awarded to ASGS as a top-preferred contractor recommended by SafeWork SA, reflecting our impeccable safety record and strong industry reputation.
One of the major challenges was the structural instability of the roof framing, which prevented access from above. Our team adapted by implementing alternative methods to safely and efficiently remove all asbestos sheeting, ensuring strict compliance with safety protocols.
Despite the complexities, the project was completed in under nine weeks, without incident, once again demonstrating ASGS’s leadership in asbestos removal. Our commitment to safety and performance has ensured that ASGS maintains a perfect record, never having received an improvement notice for any asbestos project.
